A Lifetime of Service
For 35 years, I've built and run a small business while raising and educating our four children in San Marcos.
My professional work has taught me to work with the land, respect our water limits, listen to client’s needs, and respect a budget. As a mother, an obligation to leave the planet in a better place than was left to us.
I have spent decades building small urban forests and ecosystems for homes in our region. I have learned that before you change a landscape, you must study the soil, understand the water flow, work with nature—not against it.
Cities and the people that live in them, deserve that same kind of thoughtful care.
For over a decade, I have served San Marcos on boards and commissions and as a City Council member.
We not only created and approved new city plans, we put them into action to create a more resilient San Marcos, planning for the future, and honoring our deep-rooted cultures
I am not new to City Hall, but eager to evaluate new ideas for a stronger more resilient community now and into the future. I've built a reputation for doing my homework, listening, then rolling up my sleeves and getting the work done.
I take very seriously that the decisions we make today should leave our children and our grandchildren a city that is financially sound, environmentally healthy, and rich in opportunity.
